Gent's rare vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual GMT Master stainless steel wristwatch featuring unusual pointed crown guards (seen only in the first couple years of manufacture). Black high gloss dial with gilt print; signed 'Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified'; also featuring a small silver underline just below the chronometer text. Rotating blue and red bezel calibrated for 24 hours. 40mm case diameter. Integrated stainless steel Jubilee bracelet. Automatic movement; calibre 1565; 26 jewels. This watch was only manufactured as shown for 12 months. The thinner case on this watch makes it the most collectable. Circa 1960’s (+/-). Reference #: 1675.
