History:The movement 321 was created by a joint project carried out between Omega and Lemania. This was the first chrono watch featuring the tachymeter scale on the bezel instead of on the dial as does previously. The reason for this was that it was easier to read. In October of 1962 this model was the first wristwatch to be taken into space with Wally Schirra during the Mercury 8 flight. In 1965 it was chosen by NASA as it's official chronometer.
