Details
Antique Art Nouveau silver-topped gold butterfly brooch designed with a bezel-set pear-shaped emerald abdomen; circular-cut diamond head and eyes; the end of the gold antennae are set with small rubies; the wings of the butterfly of beautifully enhanced with old-cut diamonds, rubies and sapphires. The silver has oxidized due to age. Approximately 2 inches in length; 2 1/2 inches in width (at longest point). Circa 1890.
