Details
Ladies exceptional 19th century 22kt yellow gold Indian Thewa bracelet featuring 7 oval-shaped panels, in which a transparent green glass surface is enhanced by a hunting scene displaying Hindu folklore which is carved on a thin gold sheet. The back and sides are completely enclosed in gold. The bracelet features a hidden tongue-insert clasp. The process to make this thewa bracelet took months to complete. Circa 1880.
